Covid Update - Booking Procedures
The Foothills Family Medical Centre is now booking in-person appointments at both locations.
COVID-19 transmission remains a concern in our communities and therefore, we will continue to apply enhanced screening, cleaning and preventative measures.
-Pre-screening will be completed for all patients before they enter the clinic.
-All patients are asked to wear a mask if they have cough or cold symptoms.
-Continued sanitation and cleaning of the clinic and treatment rooms
Phone appointments will only be accommodated for some prescription renewals and test results.
If you have a fever, cough, runny nose or difficulty breathing, or have tested positive for COVID-19 at the time of your appointment please notify the clinic by calling 403-933-4368, self isolate and reschedule your appointment.
Appointments

When You Arrive
When you arrive for your appointment, please check in with reception. Confirm & update contact information including cell phone & e-mail.
FFMC is a teaching Clinic.
We work with the University of Calgary, mentoring medical students & residents. You may be seen by another health care provider in addition to your doctor.
Need to Cancel
We know that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Ideally, we would appreciate a 24-hour notice if you cannot make your appointment. We understand that this is not always possible, however, it does allow us to free up your visit time for another patient. Patients canceling with less than 24 hours notice may be invoiced as per our cancellation policy.
Running Late?
If you’re going to be late for your appointment, please call ahead to let us know. In some cases, there may be a delay, or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
